5-Day Multi-Activity Wing Skills

The layout of this course is divided into wing-surfing and paddle sports, with the younger sailors working towards their "RYA Learn To Wing" qualification.

Wingsurfing, and the more advanced wingfoiling, is the latest watersports craze to hit our waters. Unlike windsurfing, the wing isn’t attached to the board, but is still controlled by your hands whilst standing.

No previous watersports experience is necessary and you can learn the basics on a large windsurf board or windSUP. Please note that if we don't have appropriate wind conditions to run the wing element, windsurfing may be substituted.

The paddlesport & raft building element of the course is the ideal break from wing-surfing and the perfect fun session to finish your day on! We use a mixture of SUP paddleboards and kayaks based on the reservoir and then progressing onto the Thames and some river adventures towards the end of the week! The children will also experience fun and games with our NEW raft building sessions, building communication and team building skills on their final day.

There's lots of fun to be had on this course and you'll make plenty of friends too!

Junior Stage 1 Wingfoiling

Our Learn To Wing Course is a short, 4-hour session, providing a basic introduction to winging, the latest craze to hit our waters! This course is split into two parts; flying the wing ashore, and getting afloat. Together these sessions provide the fundamentals of wing control, translating its power into forward momentum and steering. We focus on reinforcing the core skills of board balance to enable you to travel across the wind a short distance, gybe and return to a starting point. No previous experience is required for this fun and exciting new sport & you can learn the basics on our easy to use wide-style kit.
