The Challenger Open

The English Open Challenger Championship Regatta is set to take place at Farmoor Reservoir! Oxford Sailability, run by volunteers and dedicated to helping people with disabilities try sailing, will host the event in conjunction with Oxford Sail Training Trust.

David Newton, from Oxford Sailability, said: “For us to be able to host a national regatta of this calibre at Farmoor Reservoir is a significant opportunity.

“Challengers have been specially designed for people with impaired mobility and give greater stability than other classes of boats. Not only will they be joining the fun of the official regatta, they will also be joining a family of like-minded people that offers them help and support.”
