Welcome to Farmoor Reservoir, Oxford’s premier destination for water-sport adventures. Situated on the county's largest body of water, just 5 miles outside of Oxford and a few minutes drive from the A34 and A40, our rental operation offers you the perfect opportunity to explore while soaking in the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or a first-timer, our friendly team is here to provide everything you need for an unforgettable experience. We have qualified instructors and powered safety cover available to all users to ensure your experience is both safe & fun.
You can paddle with us whether you have been on a SUP before or not and we can cater for most ages and skills. We offer one and two hour sessions for the newcomers with a short intro and a self-launch option for the more experienced paddlers.
If you are looking for something completely different for a group day out, then please give us a shout and we can tell you about our regular tours or arrange a truly unique experience for you.

Single Sit-On Kayak Hire - 1 Hour

What's included in my hire?
We supply a kayak for one adult or child, paddle, buoyancy aid & helmet.
Do I need experience to hire?
The short answer is no, we welcome everyone, regardless of their skill level. Before setting off, we'll provide guidance on how to use the equipment safely and effectively. Our staff are qualified Instructors and have ready access to powered rescue boats.
Are the activities suitable for children?
Children under 12 are permitted to use our equipment but it is not advisable for them to go out on the water alone. We strongly recommend that they are accompanied by a competent adult at all times.
Anyone aged 16 and under must have an adult on site at all times.
