General

Oxford Sail Training Trust is a registered Charity No. 900436.

We would like to draw your attention to two policies of Thames Water.

1. There is no jogging or cycling around the reservoir.
2. Dogs are not permitted past the car park, except on the countryside walk which starts next to the toilets in the car park.

All courses

Oxford Sail Training Trust (OSTT) is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training Centre and all courses are run to the RYA syllabus and recommended instructor/pupil ratios.

Cancellation Policy

All courses must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

OSTT reserves the right to cancel any course or part thereof when conditions warrant, due to low take-up or adverse weather conditions. On the rare occasion that this is necessary, an alternative course will be offered. However, a safe alternative activity may be substituted for Youth Courses. No additional liability for compensation or expenses will be accepted.

Places which had been confirmed but which are cancelled in writing by an applicant and received at the centre no less than 4 weeks prior to the course start date will result in a refund of the course less a 10% administration charge.

Cancellations by applicants received less than 4 weeks before the course start date will result in 50% of the course fee being forfeited. In the event of illness supported by a doctor’s certificate, the centre will refund 90% of the course fee. However, please note that any cancellations on or after the course start date for this reason will result in the full fee being forfeited. All cancellations must be in writing.

Once payment has been received the course is only transferable at the discretion of the centre.

Your Agreement

You understand that you will be a temporary associate of Oxford Sailing Club for the duration of the course and will be bound by its articles and bylaws.

You consent to your details being held on the OSTT computer. Details will not be passed on to other organisations.

You consent to any treatment or medication being administered where necessary and for transport to hospital and any necessary treatment being carried out. If a parent or guardian, you will be notified as soon as possible of any such treatment.

Photographs taken of the course sessions may be used by Oxford Sail Training Trust.
